Stalking Awareness Day Australia (SADA) was launched in the Victorian Parliament in March 2024. It is an annual day of recognition for the victims and survivors of stalking. SADA is committed to raising awareness of the harmful effects stalking has on the lives of its victims and families. And strives to educate and provide the community with resources and support.
Stalking is behaviour through which someone imposes themselves into another person’s life in a way which causes distress, fear, and disruption.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics:

SADA was established by Di McDonald to empower and educate people who are stalked.
